Suchana Seth is a data scientist and expert in AI ethics with over 12 years of experience, according to her LinkedIn profile. On Saturday, she and her son had checked into Sol Banyan Grand, but on Monday, she left by herself. Furthermore, she refused to take the hotel staff’s advice to take a flight and insisted on taking a taxi from Goa to Bengaluru.
The staff notified the Goa Police after discovering bloodstains in the apartment she had been residing in. When the police called the taxi driver to ask about her son, she gave the incorrect address and said he was with a friend.
After directing the driver to the closest police station in Chitradurga, about 200 km from Bengaluru, the officers asked her to stop. There, she was taken into custody and returned to Goa to be questioned.
